Search New Jersey business entities by using the Department of the Treasury (Division of Revenue & Enterprise Services) database. The service can be used to view matching search results for a name, keyword, or business ID search or to verify a name’s availability.
Business Entity Search
1. Go to the New Jersey Business Entity Name Search Webpage
2. Choose Search Type
To view a list of entities that match a search criteria, select Business Name.
3. Perform Search
Enter the Business Name and click Search.
4. View Search Results
The next page will display a list of up to 500 matching results. Each result will show the following entity information:
- Business Name
- Entity ID
- City
- Type
- Incorporated Date
